Elba Corralejo, Fuerteventura

The Elba Hotels & Resorts chain, belonging to Anjoca Grupo Empresarial, has begun work on what will be its seventh hotel on the island of Fuerteventura, the tenth in the Canary Islands, in which it will invest 100 million euros.

The new establishment, which will be called Elba Corralejo, will be a 4-star resort with 478 rooms (52 Swim-Up and 15 Junior Suites). It will be built on a 60,000 square metre plot and its incorporation will add 1,000 new tourist beds to Fuerteventura's hotel offer, making it the largest resort in the northern area and projecting Corralejo as a premium destination, according to the chain.

The new resort project includes landscaped and recreational areas, 26 swimming pools, most of them heated and 15 for private use integrated in Junior Suites. It will also have seven restaurants and bars, a spa with health and beauty treatments, and a fitness area.

In terms of investment and number of rooms, Elba Corralejo is the largest project undertaken by Elba Corralejo Hotels & Resorts in Fuerteventura to date. The hotel chain currently has six other establishments in Fuerteventura and a strong presence in the popular area of Caleta de Fuste.
