Through DTH Real Estate Fuerteventura SL, the German group DER Touristik continues to invest in its own hotels. This week, it has taken over the Aldiana Club Fuerteventura, formerly part of the Aldiana Club Resorts portfolio on a leasehold basis. The acquisition comes a year after the group bought the hotel brand itself. The amount of the transaction has not been disclosed so far, according to media reports.
The project is located in the area of Morro Jable, part of the municipality of Pájara, in the south of the island of Fuerteventura. With more than 361 rooms, including bungalows, Aldiana Club Fuerteventura has direct access to the beach, sea views and a multitude of facilities, including a spa with indoor pool, multiple swimming pools, a gym, a children's playground, different meeting rooms, a theatre and a discotheque.
The firm, which acquired another complex - also branded Aldiana - located in Austria last July, considers this acquisition as a further step in its business strategy. In the long term, its objective is to invest in selected properties such as this one, which already represents the fourth hotel of the DER Touristik group and the second Aldiana Club hotel that the company has under its ownership.
