B&B Hotels has opened a new hotel in Mollet del Vallès, Barcelona, increasing the total number of its facilities in Catalonia to 12. The B&B Hotel Barcelona Mollet Porta de Gallecs offers 64 double and triple rooms and a range of services including buffet breakfast, Wi-Fi, free coffee and hot drinks, parking, air conditioning and LCD TV with Chromecast service. Members of the new B&me loyalty programme have access to special promotions, including a €50 rate for this and other newly opened hotels.
The hotel operates on a long-term lease basis, facilitating the expansion of B&B HOTELS' asset light business model in the Iberian Peninsula, a key approach to sustaining its growth plans.

Under the leadership of Lucia Méndez-Bonito, CEO of the company, the chain has doubled its turnover since 2019 and significantly increased its number of hotels. The company is working on the construction of 20 new hotels, with a target of reaching 200 hotels by 2030. It has also entered into strategic partnerships with Meridia, Avintia and CEP.
Recently, B&B Hotel signed an agreement with Grupo Avintia Real Estate for the development of 10 new hotels until 2025 and another with Construcciones Eliseo Pla for three hotels in Valencia, Seville and Alicante scheduled for 2024 and 2025. These projects are part of an expansion plan valued at more than 100 million euros.
