The investment group headed by Amixalan, which is under the control of the Navarrese businessman Xabier Blanco Platero, has closed the purchase, through Amixa Capital, of the Sercotel Rosaleda Málaga hotel, inaugurated a few days ago by Sercotel Hotel Group as a leasehold operator, according to Alimarket.
The four-star hotel is located in the residential area of Martiricos, next to the Rosaleda shopping centre and very close to La Rosaleda stadium. It has 150 rooms, a swimming pool, a cafeteria, seven event rooms and a restaurant, among others. The asset was owned by Activ-Group, a commercial and tertiary development company within Dünkel Holding, which initiated the project in early 2020.
Specifically, the investment group of the businessman Xabier Blanco Platero has stakes in industrial companies such as Ega Perfil and Estructuras Para Energías Renovables (Eper). Likewise, the main source of the businessman's wealth derives from the sale of STI Norland, founded in 1996 by his father, the engineer Pedro Blanco Lumbier, and sold in 2021 to the US company Array for 570 million euros.
