Altamira has placed on the market a portfolio of hotel assets comprising 35 establishments, which together are valued at a market price of 45 million euros, according to EjePrime.
The portfolio is made up of establishments of different types, from five-star hotels to individual tourist flats, and they are distributed throughout the country. The catalogue includes assets for sale, for sale in profitability (as they already have an operator) or in precarious conditions for refurbishment, among others.
Among the assets, the Castillo del Bosque de la Zoreda Hotel stands out, located four kilometres from Oviedo, with a five-star category, 25 suite-type rooms, spa and swimming pool. It also houses the La Zoreda restaurant.
It is an emblematic 20th century mansion within a large estate of more than 13,000 square metres. The complex, which opened its doors in 2007, has a complementary building, garage area, gardens and lounges.
The asset is owned by an investment fund, which bought it from the Madrid-based business group Santagadea. The company acquired the complex in mid-2016, after the former owners, the Asturian group Hoto Urocisa, decided to file for insolvency proceedings in 2014 due to the inability to repay the €16 million debt owed to Banco Popular.
Another of the assets that make up the portfolio managed by Altamira is the former Hotel Cortijo de Ducha complex, promoted by the Jerez businessman Francisco Romero Caballero, and located ten minutes from the centre of Jerez. The complex, which was opened in 2011 and was open until 2019, consists of 34 rooms with outdoor terrace and full bathroom.
