All Iron RE I Socimi and Líbere Hospitality Group have launched the complex Líbere Alicante Rambla, a building with 61 apartments that marks the debut of both companies in the Alicante market, after a global investment of €17.2 million.
The property, located in the city centre, on Calle Gerona, was purchased by the Socimi in 2021 for €9.2 million and subsequently underwent a comprehensive refurbishment. The building, originally constructed in 1943, has been renovated while preserving protected architectural features, in line with the Special Plan for the Protection of Alicante’s historic city centre.
“This is a project that combines architectural heritage and technology,” the company explains, referring to an accommodation model geared towards short and medium-term stays.
The 3,931sqm property includes studios, one-bedroom apartments and duplexes with terraces, as well as communal areas such as a rooftop with a swimming pool and solarium, and a breakfast area on the ground floor. In terms of sustainability, the building holds a BREEAM certification with a ‘Very Good’ rating.
The asset belongs to All Iron RE I Socimi, which, with this opening, now has 533 units in operation within a total portfolio of 891 apartments. The management and operation of the building has been awarded to Líbere Hospitality Group, which now has over 1,131 units in operation internationally and maintains more than 2,300 units in its portfolio.
This operation forms part of Líbere Hospitality Group’s expansion strategy into urban destinations with sustained demand and tourist appeal.
“Líbere Hospitality Group is a perfect fit for the kind of city where we want to continue growing – destinations that are vibrant throughout the year”, said Antón de la Rica, the company’s Co-CEO, highlighting the combination of urban life and tourism that Alicante offers.
