Simed, the Mediterranean Real Estate Exhibition, stresses the importance of public-private collaboration to promote real estate investment, an ever-growing activity that is essential for the development in the area. In a special forum, organised with Iberian Property on Thursday 16 November, the exhibition will provide a space to create synergies and encourage dialogue on key issues such as access to housing. Simed, which will be celebrating its 19th edition, will be held until 18th November at FYCMA (Trade Fairs and Congress Center of Málaga).
In addition, other topics like public-private partnership projects with real results, investment for project development, land availability for new developments and public housing will be addressed. Representatives of public and private institutions will participate in the programme, including the General Secretariat of Urban Agenda, Housing and Architecture of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda; the Ministry of Development, Territorial Development and Housing of the Andalusian Regional Government; Malaga City Council; the Spanish Association of Public Housing and Land Managers; Fadeco Promotores and Lagoom Living.
In terms of the event's programme, there will be a presentation of public policies, projects and public land supply, as well as a reflection on the viability and participation of the private sector.
