Portugal Real Estate Summit, the largest real estate investment event in the Iberian Peninsula, is back at the Hotel Palácio Estoril from September 19 to 20, in Portugal.
In 2023, the 7th edition of the Portugal Real Estate Summit takes place in another year of great global uncertainty, but with the Portuguese economy registering positive numbers in these first months and justifying the interest of global investors, after an investment volume of almost 3,000 million euros in commercial real estate in 2022.
At the Portugal Real Estate Summit, major international players will have a privileged opportunity for networking and to discuss the main trends and the best opportunities in the sector in the various regions, in a lively program of conferences and parallel sessions.
The country's economic growth has been one of the most effusive in the European Union, it will be highlighted, and will also be the theme of the first session of the event. It is important to understand what opportunities are open to attract companies and investment in the era of "deglobalization".
This year, special emphasis will be placed on the portuguese medium-sized cities, which will have the opportunity to present their investment opportunities, proving that investors' interest goes far beyond Lisbon and Porto. Portugal is for visiting and living, it is consolidated as a destination for permanent residence, and this will be the theme of a second session on the first day of the Portugal Real Estate Summit. The new formats of "living" will be highlighted here, with inputs from JLL or Savills and other investors in a round table debate. But Europe is also going through a time of re-industrialization, where nearshoring is a trend, and drives new investments in logistics and offices, creating new business opportunities, particularly for cities that emerge as new locations for this purpose. The main investment opportunities in each segment of Portuguese real estate will be discussed in the various parallel sessions of the event, promoted by Abreu Advogados, CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield, Deloitte, JLL, Morais Leitão & Savills.
