The Cereceda family, which holds a majority position in La Finca Global Assets, establishes as a condition that the buyer who wants to acquire 38% of the Socimi, controlled by the Värde fund, will have to commit to promoting an investment plan valued at 150 million euros for the next five years.
The sale will go ahead if Värde gets an offer for at least 95% of the real market value, and La Finca accepts the new partner.
According to the agreements between both parties, if Cereceda rejects Värde's candidate, the investment fund could start the process so that Cereceda mandatorily acquires its shares at the price offered and, if this operation cannot be carried out, the next step would lead to the separation of the companies, giving way to the real estate distribution process.
Another possibility is that the deadline is met and the investment fund does not present any purchase offer. This situation would trigger a three-month extension during which La Finca Global Assets would have the option of acquiring the participation of Värde or seeking the purchase from a third party that has its approval. If none of these options are successful, the separation process will continue.
The main asset of La Finca de Pozuelo is a business park with about twenty buildings, totaling an area of 129,141 square meters. Among the tenants are the companies Microsoft, Orange, Santander and Accenture.
