Ian Kelley initially founded the Paris office of BMO Real Estate Partners in 2015 to create a European real estate platform, which later became part of Columbia Threadneedle Investments in 2021 following a change in shareholder.
During this time, Ian developed numerous funds and mandates totalling more than €2 billion in assets under management throughout Europe.
Ian’s experience spans across leading firms including CBRE Investment Management, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, Bouygues Immobilier and Polo Ralph Lauren. He has built a reputation for delivering strong investment results and innovative real estate strategies.
The new venture, which Ian describes as a platform designed to revolutionise the approach to European real estate for private investments, aims to offer investors unparalleled opportunities within the real estate market.
‘I am thrilled to embark on this entrepreneurial journey,’ said Ian Kelley ’this new venture represents an exciting opportunity to continue providing value-driven, innovative solutions for private investments within the European real estate landscape.’
The new real estate company will focus its investments in high-street retail, targeting markets of recognized international tourist destinations in France, Southern Europe (Spain, Portugal, Italy) and Czech Republic.
Under the management of BMO, Ian Kelley has already protagonist real estate investments in Spain, specifically transactions concerning:
- Calle Orense 16, Ortega y Gasset 8 and Calle Serrano 30 in Madrid.
