Healthcare Activos has acquired a new healthcare centre in Portugal. The infrastructure is located in the town of Montijo (Lisbon) and will be managed by the healthcare operator CUF, according to a statement issued by the operator.
The company is expanding its brand in Portugal, where it has invested 100 million euros. The building has a floor area of 2,226 square metres, including a large car park and medical services distributed in 16 specialised consulting rooms, two diagnostic examination rooms, two treatment rooms, two laboratories and a complete radiology area with magnetic resonance, CT, conventional rays, ultrasound, mammography and orthopantomography.
The new facility will serve the town of Montijo and the surrounding towns of Alcohete, Mota and Barreiro, all of which are outside the centre of Lisbon, Healthcare Activos said in its note.
The healthcare real estate platform continues to increase its presence in Europe. "Portugal continues to meet the right characteristics to continue expanding the coverage of healthcare services available to its population, with the aim of expanding its private offer across the entire healthcare spectrum," the company said.
