The Portugal Real Estate Summit, the largest property investment event on the Iberian Peninsula, is back at the Hotel Palácio Estoril from 23 to 24 September.
In 2023, this two-day event was attended by 420 participants, the most attended edition ever. Exceeding expectations year after year, the event confirms the growing interest of international investors in the Portuguese property market.
Every year, the main international investors are invited to this initiative to meet and discuss the best investment opportunities in various sectors and regions.
With an engaging programme, the conference attracts the main players and decision-makers in the real estate sector. At the Portugal Real Estate Summit, the major international players will have a privileged opportunity to network and debate the main trends and best opportunities in the sector in the various regions, in a lively programme of conferences and parallel sessions.
This year's conference will focus on topics such as affordable housing and new housing concepts, public-private partnership models in Lisbon and Porto, and the impact of artificial intelligence and data centres.
The former governor of the Portuguese Central Bank, Carlos Costa, is one of the guest speakers who has already been confirmed. While Portugal is growing faster than the European average the question arises: is this outperforming growth sustainable for the future? Carlos Costa will be in charge of providing insights on the topic, also addressing if Portugal should compare itself to “core” markets or instead with EEC faster growing economies.
The Portugal Real Estate Summit is organised by Iberian Property. It once again has the main market players as partners, including CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield, JLL, Savills, Abreu Advogados, Morais Leitão, Norfin, Square Asset Management, Refundos Explorer and Deloitte.
