WIRES, think tank of the real estate sector, has awarded the "Amigos Wires" awards to José María García Gómez, Deputy Minister of Housing, Transport and Infrastructures of the Community of Madrid, and Arturo Malingre, partner of the Iberinmo group.
Carmen Panadero, President of WIRES, said that "These awards recognise the efforts of those men who have helped us the most to become and consolidate what we are today, a real estate Think Tank. They have given us visibility through presentations at round tables, they have provided us with platforms to showcase knowledge about our activity (sustainability, taxation, building conversion, to name but a few aspects), in contact with experts, and they have made us participants in congresses and fairs".
Carmen Panadero also commented that "on the verge of being 10 years old and with almost 500 members/managers, we recognise that when we were born José María García always listened to us, gave us a voice and allowed us to participate in the round tables and gave us the wings to become a think tank to offer our opinion on issues that we know and that interest us".
The Deputy Director García Gómez responded: "You (Wires) have been a revolution in the real estate field, bringing a dynamic and modern vision that, until then, was stiff and old-fashioned. You are now a highly prestigious organisation. You have developed highly valuable conferences, you have participated in regulatory and legislative processes, and we have defended the Spanish brand all over the world at different congresses and trade fairs. WIRES has always been a point of reference, a point of quality. WIRES is synonymous with quality due to the number of professionals from all fields who contribute their knowledge".
Ariadna Belver, vice-president of WIRES, highlighted the contribution of Arturo Malingre, saying: "We want to recognise Arturo for the visibility he has given to the association by spreading our messages through all the magazines of the Iberinmo group".
On its behalf, Arturo Malingre endorsed José María García Goméz's words and added that "it is natural as a media to give visibility to what we consider interesting and offers value to our readers. We have done so for 25 years. Society cannot miss out on 50% of the talent and that is our objective".
