They also acted as consultants for Grupo Baraka in the purchase of the former Hotel Carlos V in a joint operation with the building at Preciados, 13. The surface area of the hotel is 2,800 m2 of which 1,500 m2 are for commercial use. The total of the transaction carried out by Asesorama came to approximately 40 million euros.
With these two tansactions, Asesorama has consolidated s one of the specialised consultants in the prime zone of Madrid, in the axis Sol-Preciados-Gran Vía, where last year it also formalised the transaction for Gran Vía, 44, occupied now by the US hamburger chain Five Guys.
The president of Asesorama, José Bernabé is certain that "we are currently working on three operations in the zone which are on the point of being finalised, due to the interest of investors in retail in the central zone of Madrid, where they are prepared to pay extra to have their flagship in a strategic spot ".
