The building is still being rehabilitated and, according to Eje Prime, it should open its doors within the next few months.
This is the seventh coworking unit from WeWork in Madrid, but it will be the first one located at the heart of the Spanish capital. The company has a further five assets in Barcelona and the total number of assets should increase.
The company plans to keep investing in the two main Spanish urban areas. It should open a corporate unit in Madrid and another in Barcelona, in order to secure long term commitments with the companies, which means leasing contracts between 3 and 5 years.
