Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Larvia is the result of the partnership between subsidiary Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and Spanish company Larvia and the new company will be dedicated to buying and selling dwellings of this type starting this month, as mentioned by Spanish newspaper Expansión this Monday.
The agreement between the company was, according to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’s CEO Gino Blefari, an important step to «enter this market through a solid and respected agency. Larvia will connect us to the region, since Spain is the goal of many European and Latin-american clients».
Besides repositioning the Larvia brand and adjusting the processes of its real estate agencies in Madrid and Barcelona, there are also plans to grow. «We have an ambitious growth plan in other locations where we see potential, such as the Costa del Sol and the Islands», mentions Bruno Rabassa, Larvia’s CEO, in an interview to the same newspaper.
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ CEO Claudio Prattico goes even further: «our goal is to become uncontested market leaders, not just in local sales, but also internationally».
