After having entered London and Berlin, through a franchising agreement, the company has been in talks to enter in Madrid and Paris, among other cities.
Last year, Berkshire closed a deal with London luxury real estate agency Kay & Co., which includes a second franchising agreement in Europe. As is explained by Gino Blefari, who operates the brand through HSF Affiliatesby franchising, «we have a series of markets which are ready. We want to enter all the big metropolitan markets», quotes Cinco Días.
The news comes at a time when the demand for luxury houses is on the rise in Madrid, increasing the competition amongst mediators, such as Sotheby’s International Realty, Knight Frank, Colliers, Engel & Völkers or John Taylor, Lucas Fox, Coldwell Banker and Savills Aguirre Newman, among others.
