Two of these new assets will be constructed in Valencia, where the company recently bought a 72.000 sqm terrain. One of the warehouses will have 15.000 sqm and the other 25.000 sqm, reveals Eje Prime.
In Zaragoza the company has a 20.000 sqm warehouse under construction, which is part of a larger project, a 70.000 sqm industrial park.
Besides these two cities, Belgian VGP also chose municipalities close to large urban centres such as Barcelona and Madrid. In total, the company intends to build 170.000 sqm in logistic areas this year, with the goal of reaching a total buildable area of 150.000 sqm until September.
The development of these projects in Spain is part of VGP’s current plan of increasing to 2 million sqm the total area it manages in Europe.
