VGP, Pan-European provider of logistic properties, concluded the development of its VGP Park Lliça d’Amunt (Barcelona) with the delivery of new warehouses to companies Moldstock, Buddy and Gotex-Coats. The three companies, along with Picking Farma will finish the second stage of the 40.000 sqm project. Construction was carried out by Norton Edificios Industriales.
Manuel Fernández, commercial manager at VPG España, explained that «despite Covid-19’s added difficulties, the marketing department’s goal, the terms and deliveries were all met and even the construction of the two buildings started at the beginning of 2020. Thanks to the work of VGP España, the needs of all tenants, who required space in a market which couldn’t offer much in terms of rental areas with high quality and sustainability standards, were all met. These warehouses also have a «very Good» certification from Breeam Good».
A reference logistic centre in Catalonia
VGP Park Lliça d’Amunt is located 25 km North of Barcelona with direct access to the C-17 motorway which connects with the AP-7 within Catalonia’s first urban ring with direct access to a wide range of services, a consolidated surrounding area close to production centres, qualified workforce, infrastructure and transport. VGP Park is located within a consolidated area where the Mango’s world distribution centre and Biokit are located and a commercial area featuring Leroy Merlin and Lidl.
