By this operation, the fund aims to recover investment, similar to Lone Star with Neinor Homes, and as Castlelake aim to do with Aedas, Spanish Real Estate recalls.
Vía Célere is the firm resulting from the merger of Vía Célere, the real estate developer founded in 2007 by Juan Antonio Gómez Pintado and Dos Puntos. Värde bought it in advantageous conditions from banks and funds in debt, including the same Värde with 51%, for 90 million euros, in order to create a merger with Dos Puntos and then invest in the construction of about 10,000 homes.
The stock market value should come to more than 1,000 million euros, in spite of the fact that Juan António Gómez Pintado believes that it is still too early to work out an exact figure.
These recent exits from the market show that the funds which buy land, with complete portfolios, the moment has come for them to recuperate their investment, to which end their companies have been preparing to make them attractive to investors, as is the case of Värde and Lone Star, or Castlelake.
