Entremutilvas residential project
Urbas was awarded the construction works of two projects in Navarre which it will build through a UTE (Temporary Joint Venture) formed by Construcciones Murias (following its acquisition by the developer one year ago) and Construcciones J.M. Ibáñez. Total investment surpasses nine million euro.
The contracts consist in the construction of two buildings. One of them will feature 27 dwellings and will be located in the Tudela municipality. The housing project will represent a 3.6 million euro investment.
The other complex will feature 39 flats and will be located in the municipality of Entremutilvas, three km away from Pamplona. Investment for this project will reach 5.7 million euro.
Both buildings will be destined to official affordable housing so as to alleviate demand for this type of dwellings. Construction works will begin in March and are expected to be concluded simultaneously in April 2023.
Under the Passivhaus standard
The projects were adjudicated by local developer Nasuvinsa, a shell company owned by the Navarre Government.
Like all the other dwellings developed by Nasuvinsa, these buildings will follow the Passivhaus standard. This is a standard for energy efficiency which certifies that the building’s energy consumption is close to zero. To achieve it, the buildings will have a centralised installation for heating, cooling and sanitary hot water services, through a communal biomass boiler.
