The idea is to create new hotel units in the Iberian market. Haydn Fentum, CEO of Bespoke Hotels, explained, “When we worked together in this way in the Middle East market, in the holiday homes sector in Dubai, and in the Gulf, we had unqualified success,” referring to the partnership in holiday homes in Dubai and I the Gulf region. “With this partnership we are hoping to repeat the good results for the Portuguese hotel market, which has achieved recently a good measure of growth.”
Carlos Leal, General Director of United Investments Portugal, commented, “UIP continues to be focussed on the expansion and diversification of its portfolio in Portugal and Spain. We believe that the advantages of this partnership, including Bespoke’s operations’ platforms, management and distribution, will contribute to future joint growth.”
In Portugal, United Investments already has Pine Cliffs Resort, the Sheraton Cascais Resort, and the spa Serenity – The Art of Well Being brand. Bespoke represents 200 hotels all over the world and is not yet present in the Portuguese market.
