Over 150 brands will be participating in the project, with special emphasis on fashion and gastronomy by the big national and international groups in each sector. Fashion will be represented, among others, by Grupo Inditex, H&M, Sfera, Armani Exchange, El Ganso, Munich, Oveja negra, Guess and Levi´s. Plaza Río 2 will also have a careful selection of sporting goods with companies such as Foot Locker, Snipes, Adidas, JD Sport, The North Face and Décimas and also, the jewellers Pandora, Tous, Joya & Diseño. Gastronomy is another of the main features, with the “Mirador de Río” concept, where people from Madrid can enjoy a spectacular terrace with views over Madrid, and a spacious gastronomic area of about 3.000 m2 . The Grupo Larrumba, Wagamama and Five Guys will have their own restaurants, with the presence also of Starbucks and Häagen-Dazs.
LSGIE is adding Plaza Río 2 to its retail holdings on Spanish territory, thus reaching a total of 9 shopping centres: Madrid 2 La Vaguada, Plaza Loranca 2, Gran Vía 2, La Villa 2, Plaza Mar 2, Plaza Norte 2, Gran Plaza 2 and the Plaza de la Moraleja.
