The hotel will be operated by French hotel chain B&B, and its construction is expected to create between 50 and 70 jobs.
Jörg Tiggeman, chief operating officer at Ten Brinke in Spain and Portugal, was present at the launch and highlighted the group’s «strong bet» in Portugal, where the company expects to «significantly increase its presence in the coming years».
The developer has been in Spain for a decade, where it specialised in housing assets and retail parks. Ten Brinke’s business model, rather than being focused on ownership, is aimed at developing real estate assets and then looking for an investor to purchase and manage them.
