The development (on 20.000 sqm) of the retail and business park at carretera de la playa Composto, represents a 25 million euro investment, according to a release issued by the company.
The asset is expected to create 400 direct and indirect jobs in the area and the company will finance the works on the electrical substation which will serve the bay’s tram.
«The start of the terrain’s urbanisation works in Tiro Janer, represents a step forward for Ten Brinke in its plan to create quality wealth and employment in areas with great potential to grow economically, as is the case of San Fernando», stated Jörg Tiggemann, Ten Brinke’s managing director for Spain and Portugal. «We came to build a state-of-the-art project, sustainable and which will, without a doubt, become a reference for the bay of Cadiz», he added.
Besides this project, the company intends to build two more commercial complexes, one of them in Tarragona and the other in Pamplona. It is also finalising the opening of the Mirasierra complex, in Madrid, which will have 25.000 sqm, of which 16.000 sqm are intended for commercial stores and the rest for offices.
The company also has housing assets in Spain. The developer expects to invest 65 million euro in the construction of 400 dwellings for rental in Madrid and Murcia and is negotiating the purchase of terrains in Valencia, Seville, Bilbao, Barcelona and Malaga to develop a further 600 units for rental this year.
