The asset is located in one of the island’s main commercial hubs, at number 6 Passeig del Born. It is fully leased to Catalan chain specialised in jewellery Tous. The operation was advised by real estate consultant aRetail.
The REIT, which started being listed at the Stock Exchange in 2018, launched capital increase operations for a total 43 million euro, which represents 81% of the company’s stock market value (53 million euro). With this operation, the group intends to continue expanding its portfolio and the first purchase for this new batch did not take long at all.
Following this purchase, the company will continue its strategy to acquire commercial real estate assets. The company managed by Sergi Mirapeix specialises in buying high street retail assets. It currently has stores in Barcelona, Bilbao, San Sebastian, Porto and Lisbon.
