“They are figures in line with the development of the residential market in our country leading to the marked recovery of demand”, affirms Eloy Bohúa, general director of Planner Exhibitions. “After the recovery registered in the past few years, 2017 would seem to be that of the definitive consolidation of sector activity. In this new context, SIMA will play a significant role, not only for its commercial value but also as a tool for the strategic repositioning of the firms which are defining the immediate future of the sector”, added Bohúa.
The 76 confirmed exhibitors are almost 20% more than in the same marketing build up period for the previous event, and there is a similar number to be welcomed at SIMA for the first time. Also, the organisers inform us, the waiting list of companies for space at SIMA2017 now numbers 30.
The fair stregthens its professional profile
SIMA is restructuring completely what it offers professionally in 2017. The fair organisation have decided to group the main professional activities under one name, SIMApro, and this will take place on the 24th to 26th May also at the Madrid Fair and will include the Real Estate Conference, the Investment Forum, Inmonext and a programme of commercial presentations, among other activities. SIMApro will also have a networking space for all professional participants.
“The aim of this restructuring is two-fold. On the one hand, to advance the professionalism of the events at the fair by a greater complementarity of all the activities, and, on the other hand, to increase the synergy between the general exhibition area of SIMA and its professional spaces”, explained Eloy Bohúa.
Additionally, the online catalogues with details of the fair in 2017 will have two new professional sections; one dedicated the supply of land and the other to residential supply.
