More than 60% of the residential supply that will go on sale at SIMA Otoño is in the Community of Madrid and of this percentage slightly less than half is located in the capital. On the other hand, houses on the coast continue to recover the market share, although it is still very far from the levels achieved during the real estate boom. In this edition of SIMA Otoño the second home represents about 25%, 6 percentage points more than in 2016.
26% of the houses to be commercialized have been rated by the exhibitors themselves as "investment products". This is a percentage almost three times higher than last year's edition, confirming the growing attraction of the residential product as an investment alternative, mainly the one related to houses on the coast, where the recovery of prices has not yet reached the same levels as in urban areas.
