This is confirmed by all the main indicators in the sector: since 2014 the number of licenses for new work has increased by 88%, house purchase by 30% and the granting of mortgages by 70%.
25% more space in this year’s Salón Inmobiliario Internacional de Madrid (SIMA) and 20% more exhibitors than in 2016 are further evidence of the high residential demand currently existing in Spain.
According to the organisers, this year’s SIMA, from the 25th to the 28th May in Pavilion 10 of the Madrid fair, has grown not only in terms of area and number of exhibitors, but also in the number of new developments being publicised and marketed along the four days of the event: 70% more than in 2016.
