Silicius quadruples its GAV in 2019

The several monetary and non-monetary capital increase processes provided it with the strength to grow. Idealista/news mentioned that with non-monetary capital increases alone – which were carried out by companies which currently have a share of the company –, Silicius received 320 million euro. One of these operations concerned the incorporation of Shopping Centre Bahía Plaza, located in Cadiz, which increased the REIT’s capital in around 20 million euro.

Along with these operations, Silicius also purchased several assets last year. The acquisition of the retail store at Calle Eduardo Dato 12 in Victoria is an example. This operation was carried out last Summer and represented a 10 million euro investment. The latest operation was the purchase of a Conforama store in the city of Castellón, for 12 million euro. Idealista/news mentioned a total 9 operations were carried out last year.

For this year, the REIT’s pipeline in terms of acquisitions is estimated at 300 million euro. The 22 million euro capital increase carried out last December helped make this investment possible.
