This set of assets has a GLA of 6.400 sqm. With this acquisition, this investor will now own 15 buildings within this Office Park.
The deal was advised by Altamira Portugal and CBRE, according to whom this amount represents a gain of more than 7% when compared to the assets’ estimated value. This partnership has already generated sales of more than 85 million euro.
Eduardo Cerqueira, Altamira’s CEO, commented in a release that «this «three in one» transaction represented a special challenge for Altamira – combining and aligning the interests of both buyer and seller which allowed for the pre-leasing of one of the buildings and the joint selling of the other three».
Nuno Nunes, Senior Director of Capital Markets at CBRE, advanced that «besides attracting investment, this area stands out for the dynamics of its leases. New tenants, domestic and foreign, and others who expanded, have made this area show a unique dynamic in 2020, having registered, precisely at Quinta da Fonte, the second-largest office leasing operation of the year».
The Corredor Oeste (Western Corridor) area was the office area to attract more investment in the Lisbon region this year with around half of the whole office investment. Quinta da Fonte, in particular, has reinforced its activity with large companies, with the highlight going to the innovation segment.
Pbbr advised Signal Capital Partners on this acquisition, with the team of lawyers composed for Pedro Pinto, Isabel Brazão de Castro, António Brochado Teixeira and André Marcos. Alexandre Jardim and Patrícia Goldschmidt have followed the process in terms of financing.
