With this investment, the company should open between 18 and 20 new centres in the Iberian Peninsula until 2021, thus reaching a total area of 70.000 sqm in coworking centres alone.
«We want to be the number one operator in terms of coworking spaces in Spain», reveals Óscar García Toledo, Sherpa Capital’s CEO, to Spanish newspaper EjePrime.
Among the new establishments, two are located in Barcelona. One at number 18 Rambla de Catalunya, with 2.500 sqm. The other at number 161 Calle de Tarragona, with 3.000 sqm.
Besides consolidating its presence in the big Iberian cities – such as Madrid (where it already has 6 spaces of this type) and Barcelona in Spain, and Lisbon and Porto in Portugal -, the company presided by Óscar García also intends to reach other large Spanish cities such as Seville, Malaga, Valencia, Zaragoza and Bilbao.
