The group, which has more than 275 employees, reinforced it's retail, logistic and housing departments.
This newly created position will be responsible for the operational retail assets’ portfolio and for retail developing projects.
Sergio García, licensed in Corporate Sciences by the University of Oviedo and with a postgraduate degree in Marketing Strategic Management by ESADE, has an extensive experience within real estate. He started his professional career at Sonae Sierra and worked for Unibail Rodamco Westfield for 11 years where he was director of developing projects, in charge of Managing Shopping Centres in Spain and manager of shopping centres Parquesur and Equinoccio, among other positions. In 2017 he joined Grupo Lar as director of Asset Management, in charge of optimising the value of Lar España’s portfolio’s assets.
«After three years as director of Asset Management we promoted Sergio to the position of director of Retail, thus recognising his worth and professionalism within the company. He will manage both the shopping centres and the business parks in operation as well as the development projects with a team of 12 professionals», explained José Manuel Llovet, general manager of Iberian Tertiary at Grupo Lar.
