On one hand, SEGRO has announced that it will develop a 33.500 m² urban distribution centre in the district of Villaverde, south of Madrid. In the last two years, the district has consolidated itself as a logistically strategic area which hosts big multinationals like Telefónica, Repsol and Air Liquide.
On the other hand, SEGRO has acquired a two hectares site in Coslada for the development of a 11.000 m² urban distribution warehouse, located just 20 minutes away from the centre of Madrid and very well connected with the A2, M21, M50 and M40 and Barajas international airport. Besides, it is strategically located 800 metres away from the business park SEGRO already has in Coslada, in an area that is currently being expanded.
CBRE has been the real estate consultant advising SEGRO in the acquisition of the Villaverde site.
