This transaction is the largest institutional operation carried out by Sareb in 2017.
The loans are guaranteed by properties located, mainly, in the Community of Madrid, Catalonia, Andalusia and Aragon. In most cases these are completed residential assets, although it does include, occasionally, some tertiary collateral and developing offices.
"This transaction is consistent with Sareb's divestment strategy and continues to show the ongoing confidence in the Spanish market and our determination to exercise the mission entrusted to us responsibly", said Alfredo Guitart, Sareb's General Director of Business.
Sareb has been advised in this operation by the law firm Garrigues and by Irea as financial advisor.
