Sant Francesc, Valencia
RTVE has undergone a plan to sell several of its real estate assets in order to face the economic crisis it is going through. Amongst the assets placed on the market, are entire buildings, chalets and retail stores.
The company expects to receive more than 12 million euro for the sale of these assets. Nevertheless, the price of sale of some buildings is estimated to be too high and as such they were unable to sell them in the past. This may force the state company to lower the selling price.
Now, the new board, headed by José Manuel Pérez Tornero, is immersed in the process of letting go of the 17 buildings, which are currently unoccupied. The portfolio consists of several retail and office spaces, with more than 7.000 sqm, two terrains with more than 17.000 sqm, entire buildings, chalets and an attic.
The assets for sale
According to the ads published on real estate portal idealista, RTVE will sell a building in Sant Francesc (Valencia) for more than 5 million euro. This would be the company’s most expensive asset, with 20 rooms, nine floors and 1.265 sqm.
The state company also placed on sale a property in Murcia, which includes a retail store and three dwellings which had been used as offices, garage spaces and storage units.
In Andalusia, in Jerez de la Frontera, the public corporation wants to sell one more chalet with more than 500 sqm for 336.000 euro. The building, with three floors, offers an area for retail stores and other dwellings and offices.
On the other hand, RTVE placed on sale one floor in Tarragona for more than 600.000 euro and two office floors in Talavera de la Reina (Toledo) with 267 sqm for 200.000 euro.
