Rockwool renewed its deal with Green Building Council España (GBCe) to reinforce its commitment towards sustainable building and contribute to the segment’s transformation.
A third of the raw materials used by Rockwool are recycled from other industries. The company also seeks to maximize the waste collection services in their construction works. On the other hand, its products are highly recyclable.
The company intends to improve its edifications using rock wool, which contributes for a better isolation of the buildings and thus greater energy efficiency.
Rockwool and GBCe have been working together for more than 10 years seeking to change the building model into a more sustainable version. The company specialised in rock wool isolation will work in three areas which will mark this year’s roadmap: circular economy, healthy and comfortable spaces, as well as value and cost.
