RLH Properties has announced the reopening of the new Rosewood Villa Magna, for the last quarter of 2021. The company will spend 110 million euro in renewing three of its hotels, including the one located in Madrid.
The company is listed at the Mexican Stock Exchange and owns the iconic Villa Magna hotel in Madrid, which it has been renewing since mid-2020. Rosewood Hotels & Resorts® will be in charge of managing it.
Portfolio under renewal
RLH Properties is currently renewing three of its assets in Spain and Mexico: Hotel Rosewood Villa Magna, Hotel Banyan Tree Mayakoba and Hotel Fairmont Mayakoba. These three renewals represent an investment of more than 110 million euro.
Rosewood Villa Magna’s remodelling followed the renewal that took place in 2009, seeking to improve the hotel’s performance on the luxury segment level. The renewal works are focused on the hotel’s interior, garden, food offer, a new facade and the hotel entrance. These last two interventions were designed by architecture studio Ramón de Arana.
Rosewood Villa Magna will be third collaboration between RLH Properties and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts®, the first hotel Rosewood will manage in Spain and the fourth it will operate in Europe.
