According to this report, the performance of national funds ceased to be in the negative for the first time since December 2012, and compares favourably to the -1.7% in December 2015.
Three years ago, the recorded yield was -1.4% and -1.7% over five years. Closed real estate investment funds (excluding Fundos de Investimento Imobiliário de Arrendamento Habitacional (Real Estate Investment for Rental Accommodation)) had the highest return over 12 months, at 5%. The closed real estate investment funds (including FIIAH) settled at 0.9% and open real estate investment funds at -1.9%.
The APFIPP/IPD index of Portuguese Real Estate Investment Funds is made up of a total of 12 open funds and 3 closed funds, including 5 FIIAH, with a total asset value under management of 5,000 million euros at the end of the 4th term of 2016.
