If Gavari currently has a total 155 dwellings spread across 6 buildings located in Malaga and Madrid, until 2024 the REIT plans to have between 300 and 500 units. To get there, the REIT plans, not only to promote capital increases to its current shareholders but also to attract new investors. «The liquidity obtained from the investors will be used to consolidate the vehicle, add value to our assets and maximize their returns», revealed the REIT in a release issued at MAB.
The next stage of the plan, which will take place in 2025, will involve a «global and individual» asset divestment process.
This young REIT, which invests as much on traditional renting as it does on university coliving, currently has a portfolio estimated at around 15.6 million euro, with a 9.2% average yield. Last year alone, it acquired 2 assets in Madrid: building Carlos III, with 2.561 sqm, for 4.5 million euro and building Marcelino, with 604 sqm, for 1.3 million euro.
