According to the numbers released by CMVM, during the month of April, real estate investment funds registered a 0.9% drop in the amount managed, to 7.641.2 million euro, whereas special real estate investment funds registered the largest drop 1.17% to 2.446.8 million euro. The amount managed by real estate asset management funds remained practically the same at 381.5 million euro.
EU countries represented all investment in real estate assets. 45.9% of real estate investment funds and special real estate funds concerns buildings from the services segment and 65.9% of the amount managed by real estate asset management funds concern the commerce segment.
In April, Interfundos had the largest market share with 13%, followed closely by Square AM with 11.2% and by Caixa Gestão de Ativos with 7.5%.
