The 5-floor building is located at number 18 Calle Bonifaz and should be officially traded as soon as the process is greenlighted by the party’s Federal Executive Committee, advanced regional newspaper El Diario Montañés.
The capital received for this operation will serve not only to pay part of the party’s new headquarters located at Calle Vargas in Santander, owned by the same law firm, for 400.000 euro but also to balance its books at a regional level. The remaining 700.000 euro should help cancel the mortgages of the party’s headquarters in Piélagos, Marina de Cudeyo, Miengo and Santa Cruz de Bezana.
Last September, PSOE sold its headquarters shared with PSPV in Valencia (located at number 48 Avenida del Oeste) for 25 million euro to Spanish private investor All Iron Re.
