The asset, in operation since 2002 and with a gross leasable area of 11,353 m2, is one of the most consolidated and well-functioning medium-sized parks in Madrid. Some of its tenants are Media Markt, Aldi and Toys'r'us.
Salvador González, national director of capital markets at Savills Aguirre Newman, says that "Milenium was a unique opportunity since it’s an urban retail park located in one of the areas with the highest commercial critical mass that still has certain angles to add value. This operation shows the high interest of institutional investors in retail parks in Spain".
On the other hand, Borja Ortega, director of capital markets of JLL, highlights that "the quality and location of the asset make it an unbeatable investment opportunity, in the surroundings of Madrid capital. This transaction confirms that the interest for investing is a constant in the Spanish retail, which due to its diversity of formats presents an offer for all types of investors".
