In the period analyzed, 6 cities in the country recorded housing sales prices above €1,500 / m², among which Cascais, with €1,893 / m², Loulé, with €1,704 / m², Lagos, with €1,619 / m², Oeiras, with €1,572 / m² and Albufeira, with €1,524 / m². Compared to the same period last year, all cities with more than 100,000 inhabitants registered a rise in housing prices, with 16% of Amadora rising, 15.5% in Lisbon and 14.1% in Oporto.
According to the INE, in Lisbon, the price difference between a used or a new house varies €763 / m², the largest differential in the country, despite lower than the previous quarter, of €818 / m². The parishes of Misericórdia and Santo António registered the highest average sales prices of €3,440 / m² and €3,425 / m², respectively. These two parishes registered the largest annual variations in the median price of housing, of 38.5% and 46.2%, respectively.
