«Partido Popular de Cataluña (Catalonia’s Popular Party) has decided to lower the selling price on its headquarters in Barcelona, 200.000 euro. The building has been on the market since 2015, according to Merca2.
Also, in order to accelerate the process, the party hired German real estate company Engel & Völkers to try to close the operation. According to the announcement published in idealista’s portal, the headquarters of PP de Cataluña is for sale for 1.8 million euro.
According to the announcement, the asset is of mixed use for offices and local retail. It has a total constructed area of 960 sqm spread across two floors. The ground floor has 452 sqm and the higher floor 458 sqm and three metres in height. It also has a patio on the upper floor.
Amongst the facilities of the building located at number 249 calle Comte d’Urgell has several meeting rooms, press room, lift prepared for people with reduced mobility, security cameras and three bathrooms.
The headquarters, which was acquired in 2004, before being adjudicated to Engel & Völker, was marketed by Savills Aguirre Newman, although the announcement was taken down from the real estate platform in 2019.
