The platform allows to invest a minimum of €50 in real estate assets. In 8 months, the platform added more than 4,300 Portuguese registered users, and successfully finalized 5 real estate projects in our country, with an average value per investor between €350 and €650. The latest Housers project in Portugal is an apartment in Paço de Arcos, and was closed in 5 days.
João Távora, CEO of Housers in Portugal, says that "the fact that we managed to reach such a high number of investments in such a short time exceeded the expectations. This fast growth in Portugal is mainly a proof of the confidence that the Portuguese have placed in Housers. Most investors start by investing very small amounts, but as they gain confidence, the value of investments increases."
The CEO specifies that "just in the Oporto project, 157 Portuguese investors contributed with €103,877 for the financing of the construction of an urbanization with 54 apartments. The numbers show how the Portuguese are paying more attention to the crowdfunding model as a more profitable and less risky investment alternative and so we will continue to launch new projects in Portugal”.
Globally, Housers has more than 85,000 registered users from all over the world, and has already accumulated more than €55 million invested through crowdfunding.
