In order to develop it, the company has already acquired 2 lots which have a total combined area of 57.000 sqm within the Jundiz park. The project consists of 2 logistic units – one with 19.000 sqm and the other with 13.000 sqm – destined to e-commerce, revealed daily newspaper Eje Prime last week, without, however, disclosing the investment amounts.
This is the second project Panattoni announces for the country this year. The first was the construction of a logistic unit called Panattoni Park Madrid East, within the Torija municipality, close to Madrid. The park will have more than 28.400 sqm and represents a total investment of 15 million euro, according to newspaper Expansión.
On this investment, Gustavo Cardozo Lupi, who leads the project as Panattoni's Managing Director for Spain and Portugal, has highlighted how «despite the current context, Panattoni is firmly committed to the market in Spain, materializing on this first investment in Panattoni Park Madrid East, offering our clients a high quality and environmentally friendly logistics building at the most competitive rental price in the market in Corredor del Henares, a highly strategic location».
