For the purchase of the terrain and construction of the logistic unit: Panattoni Park Madrid East, with more than 28,400 sqm of space, Panattoni should spend around 15 million euro, advanced newspaper Expansión this Wednesday. The unit is expected to open during this year’s second semester.
In a release, Gustavo Cardozo Lupi, who leads the project as Panattoni's Managing Director for Spain and Portugal, highlighted how «despite the current context, Panattoni is firmly committed to the market in Spain, materialized in this first investment on the Panattoni Park Madrid East, offering our clients a high quality and environmentally friendly logistics building at the most competitive rental price in the market within the Corredor del Henares, a highly strategic location».
The facility, which has the BREEAM sustainable construction certificate, will be suitable for warehousing and logistics operations. It will have 28 docks and more than 140 parking spaces.
