This is not the only hotel where the entrepreneur invested 400 million euro through his Platinum Estate group. Through his partnership with Marriott International alone, he invested 45 million euro during the last three years buying and refurbishing several units, amongst which the Hotel W Canalejas and the W Marbella, which is expected to open in 2021.
His latest project has already opened, the four star Hotel Aloft Gran Vía, with 147 rooms and which will be managed by Marriott International.
