Orpea plans a new residence for the elderly. The group foresees an investment of more than 10.1 million euros in the new equipment. The company, through its subsidiary Atirual Inmobiliaria, has presented a project to build a property in the Pajaretes area, with 155 beds and 132 rooms.
The subsidiary recently presented the execution project to the Algeciras City Council to request the building license from the municipal urban planning management, according to Europa Sur. The plot where the residence is projected has 5,935 sqm.
It is about land adjacent to Avenida de San Bernabé. The group specialized in caring for the elderly plans to build a building of up to three floors with 8,840 sqm. The facility will also have 31 parking spaces. The new residence will be Orpea's first in the province of Cádiz.
In Spain, Orpea manages more than 50 facilities including residences, nursing homes and mental health clinics, with a total of 10,428 residential places.
